Funding Appeal for the Meadow
More than 70,000 people have signed two petitions against building in the East Meadow. The UCSC administration has noticed! How they’ll act, though, is another question. To help press our case, the East Meadow Action Committee has hired an environmental law firm that is helping us with responses to the Environmental Impact Report (which suggests several better alternatives to the East Meadow) and with potential litigation. If we can delay East Meadow development long enough through legal action, we stand a good chance of stopping it. As you know, legal expenses are high. Thus, we have launched a crowd-funding appeal, through Go Fund Me. Please help if you can. You can make your donation here.
